Pauline MacLean

Executive Administrator

 

Pauline MacLean started with Advanced Restoration Specialists in August1997 however is no stranger to the restoration industry, having already worked for another restoration contractor since 1994.   Prior to that, she was a Rooms Division Manager for several hotels in Dallas, Texas and Los Angeles, CA from 1980 to 1994.   Pauline spends most of her free time with her husband and two boys.  Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, scrap-booking, and photography.

 

Pauline is the Executive Administrator and her major responsibilities include:

 

·         Hiring and training of office staff in all aspects of customer service

·         Development, preparation and implementation of Company systems, policies and procedures

·         Preparing legal contracts and job-related forms

·         Quality Control Issues

·         Overseeing accounting responsibilities such as preparation of financial statements, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Payable

·         Marketing commercial clients in property management

·         Damage Survey Reports for emergency services

·         Case Coordinating with Restoration Project Managers to assist in the smooth operation of losses from start to finish to include scheduling, accounting and documentation for each project

·         Open communication with clients and insurance carriers on losses

 

Accomplishments/Certifications include:

 

·         Certified by Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) as a water restoration technician (WRT) and health and safety technician (HST)

·         Xactimate certified

·         BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Long Beach/South Bay Committee and downtown committee member

·         Actively involved in organizations such as Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), Water Loss Institute (WLI), and RIA

·         Full knowledge of Quickbooks Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Xactimate, JPP and ESC.
